Built on a proven hull platform, the Billfisher 650 is designed to do two things well: fish seriously, and still feel comfortable and refined for family use. The walk-around layout gives you safe, usable access forward without sacrificing cockpit space, while the hardtop provides genuine protection and headroom (with a roof hatch for airflow).
It’s the storage and fishing ergonomics that really sell it. Rod/gaff storage is integrated throughout, there are practical dry trays for valuables, and a massive underfloor hatch (gas struts) opens to a large removable fish bin — perfect for keeping the cockpit clear. The cockpit sole is raised with thigh padding on the coamings, and the boat features hefty scuppers for fast drainage when things get wet.
At the transom, you’ve got a large fully-plumbed livebait tank paired with a substantial bait board, plus a dedicated aft corner locker and twin transom lockers that house key onboard systems (washdown, oil tanks, etc.). The cabin stays bright and airy, and that lockable bi-fold door is a genuine “real life” feature: privacy for the toilet, plus a secure place to stash gear when you’re away from the boat.
