WHAT IS CPC?
The CPC programme is a marine safety initiative supported by both the Boating Industries Association of New Zealand and the Royal New Zealand Coastguard Federation.
Qualifying Manufacturers have undertaken to build boats to an agreed NZ Coastguard Standard and also provide a minimum 2 year structural hull warranty. This entitles them to attach a CPC plate to each qualifying boat.
It covers power trailer boats 3.5m to 8.0m in length that are built in New Zealand in either fibreglass or aluminium.
Each Coast Guard CPC plate is specific to an individual boat. You will also notice a safety sticker, detailing recommended minimum safety requirements, near or on the dashboard.
You will benefit by knowing that your boat has been built to safety standards established by the Boating Industries Association of New Zealand and the Royal New Zealand Coastguard Federation.
It is a New Zealand programme that reflects New Zealand requirements, for the safety of your family and friends and their safe boating.

HOW WILL I KNOW WHICH IS A CPC BOAT?
Look for the CPC plate on any of our Buccaneer boats. It's metallic and will be fixed near the builders plate.
Only manufacturers who have satisfied the requirements of the CPC programme are entitled to fix the plate to their boats.
All our Boats carry a one year full marine warranty and a five year hull structural warranty to the first retail purchaser.
All our boats are built to the New Zealand CPC Boatbuilding standard.
